
This product makes a BIG DIFFERENCE when you disengage the centerstand. Before, whenever I took down the centerstand, it would hit the bottom of my bike with a loud BANG! Since I also sported a short muffler, the center stand would hit my muffler. This was a simple install. After installing this, there is NO NOISE when I disengage my center stand. I removed the OEM bar because I was going with a minimalist look for my bike. I didn't realize that I had no where left to hold onto the bike when I was engaging its center stand. Without something to hold, I was forced to hold onto the plastic fairings of the seat. This was bad because those fairings were not meant to support weight. I purchased this product (note it only comes in one piece, I mistakenly thought it would come in both left and right items.) in order for me to have something to hold onto when apply center stand. It was very easy to install and looked very minimalist. The measurements are spot on and it supports weight very well. I hold onto this bar also when backing up my bike. It also serves as an emergency hand grip if the bike feels like it is falling over. MUST HAVE this item when removing OEM bar. View Detail

One thing I have always disliked about my Yamaha SR400 is the overly large OEM turn signals. They protrude too much from the bike and they distort the over all profile of what a sleek bike should be. These Daytona Small Blinker lights are actually perfect for reducing the profile of the bike and making a cleaner build. They are tiny! Around 1/4 the size of the OEM blinker lights and they sit much closer to the frame. The installation was fairly simple. Just remove the OEM turn signals by loosening the connecting bolt on the bike frame and the entire light will come off. The plug and play connectors of the turn signals are located underneath the seat for the rear turn signals and inside the headlight for the front turn signals. Just pull the connectors apart and connect the corresponding wires. Easy but it takes time. The lights are very bright. One thing I have noted that since these turn signals are very small, it may be hard to align them correctly. They may also become misalingned due to vibration of the bike. View Detail

I've been trying to make a cafe racer build for my Yamaha SR400, one of the things I wanted to do was reduce the amount of weight on my bike so one of the things that had to go was the large OEM front fender. This Daytona Front Fender was the perfect fir for the build. It is roughly half the size of the OEM front fender. It will really show more of the front wheel of the bike. It was very easy to install. I did not even need to remove the front wheel. All I needed to remove was the speedometer cable. You can also position it nearer to the wheel or farther away from the wheel. I have heard that you can also purchase a height adjustment adapter separately to increase the height of this front fender. View Detail

The rear fender itself is very beautiful. It is made of good quality and it is very close to OEM standards. But when I installed it and attached my license plate, the vibrations from my Yamah SR400 were making a VERY IRRITATING noises coming from the license plate! The bolts supplied with the included lucas tail light were also sub-par quality. Due to the vibrations, they fell off the bike! I had to get additional bolts to secure the lucas tail light. Now, I will have to look for ways to reduce the vibration on the license plate. I am thinking of getting a vibration dampener for the license plate or a side license plate kit. Installation of the rear fender is a bit hard. You will have to remove the rear wheel, the mudgard and the OEM rear fender. I installed this POSH AIS Cancel Plate on my Yamaha SR400 because I had an after market exhaust. The AIS (Air Induction System) causes air to be pumped into the exhaust system to detonate unused carbon emissions in the OEM exhaust's catalytic converter. Since I already replaced my OEM exhaust with an aftermarket slip on exhaust, I was getting a lot of unwanted "popping" noises whenever I was decelerating the bike or going down a steep hill. This AIS Cancel Plate allowed me to plug the AIS hole in the engine block and remove the AIS unit all together. I now have a cleaner looking bike without all the pipes, cables and AIS unit. Some people say this will also result in increased throttle response and of course a little lesser weight on the bike.
