About quality and texture - The meter bracket from SP Takegawa is made from steel with a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - A DN tachometer bracket specifically fabricated to connect directly to the speedometer mounts on the Monkey 125. The meter bracket perfectly aligns the two meters and is quite rigid to minimise vibration while riding.Products to buy together - An ideal product to purchase when mounting a DN tachometer would have to a meter visor kit. Not only offer some protection for the two meters but also improving the looks and aerodymanics.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the meter bracket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the mounting screws on the speedomter, position the meter bracket and re-secure once again.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the meter bracket is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the meter bracket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of meter bracket from SP Takegawa. A stainless steel bracket that is nicely shaped, has a M10 sized mounting point and cutout to pass the guage wiring through.About the feeling of use: With the bracket attached to the left mirror mount my temperature guage is now positioned in a much better location and the bracket is free from vibration while operating the motorcycle.Products to buy together: Some form of guage would also be desirable to purchase along side the meter bracket to make it of any use. SP Takegawa and Koso have a great selection of guages to choose from.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes, removal of the left mirror post was requires to then position the bracket between the mirror post and the mirror mount. I have left the bracket flat for now but could be bent up some if needed for a better viewing angle. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality stainless steel bracket with a nice design as compared to cheaper options from MiniMoto and Posh that are made from aluminium.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: If this bracket design does not suit your needs then there are many more to choose from right here on Webike in the meter bracket category.View Detail
About quality and texture The quality was good, and there was no problem installing itAbout the feeling of use There was a limit to installing it in the direction I wanted on my handlebarProducts to buy together The 05-05-0035 dn meter I have is 42mm, so I couldn't use itDifficulty of installation 45mm tachometer requiredCost performance and comparison with other products It's good to install it on the handlebar and set it up in various waysAbout shipping and packaging It took a week and the packaging is greatAny concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing I thought it was made against dn meters because it was a Takegawa product, but I don't think so So you have to use the clamp that's included in the tachometa, but if you use it, you have to level it Then there are only a few places to installView Detail
Used to divert a CB50JX Tachometer to an XLR80R. The pitch for both the meter and bracket is 4.5 cm, which is just right, but the hold section of the CB50JX Tachometer is a half screw and the screw section and straight section have different diameters, so a little ingenuity was needed in the installation.
When we used a collar that goes through the hole in the cushion rubber, it interfered with the Straight part of the MeterHold. Therefore, we intentionally fitted the cushion without using a collar, and it fits just right.
However, the hold section of the Meter in Mukawa is horizontal, whereas the CB50JX is vertical, so the Meter is rotated 45 degrees when fixed to the handlebar.
The product itself is of good quality, even the Hexagonal Wrench is included.View Detail
About quality and texture - The hydraulic brake lamp switch from LighTech is made using a pressure switch, light guage wires with spade connections, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Very impressed with how flawlessly the hydraulic switch functions to operate the brake light. I much cleaner look installed the original mechanical switch and spring setup. Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when working on adding electrical components to your motorcycle, especially when needing to confirm single wires that you intend on using, is a digital multimeter.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the hydraulic brake lamp switch is an intermediate task that took 1.0 hour complete. Some mechanical and electrical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove right rear fairing for access, fit the switch to the rear master cylinder and re-terminate the wiring to suit the Honda Grom harness.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products LighTech sell to be high when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the hydraulic brake lamp switch is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the hydraulic brake lamp switch, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The single shock from YSS is made from machined billet aluminium featuring a silver and black anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - This rear suspension features a spring rate that is specific for a weight range of 75 to 95kg. Obviously way better then the original unit with its heavier rated spring, preload adjusting collar, rebound adjuster and the looks when fitted to a Grom for that performance appearance.Products to buy together - The suspension on the Grom would have to be the worst part of this mini moto, so after the purchasing of this quality rear suspension the essential product to purchase to complete your suspension upgrade would be the YSS fork damper kit that can also be purchased here on Webike.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the single shock is a simple task that took 1.0 hour to complete. Mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the rear fairings for access and secure the rear suspension to the frame and the swingarm.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products YSS sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the single shock is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no option for sea freight or EMS for the twin shocks, I had to chose FEDEX which is priced higher then I like to usually spend on shipping. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The left crankcase gasket from SP Takegawa is made from a modern synthetic fiber gasket, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable oil leak from the old gasket but after having the generator cover removed for some time with the gasket exposed, I was not confident the gasket would seal well if re-used so the gasket was replaced this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new crush washer for the oil drain bolt as this bolt is removed quite regularly for oil changes.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the left crankcase gasket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is required to secure the gasket between the left crankcase cover and the crankcase.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products and the left crankcase gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the left crankcase gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. Some mechanical aptitude and the use and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the left crankcase guard directly over the top of the generator cover. .Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the left crankcase guard is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the left crankcase guard, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The slip-on exhaust system from Akrapovic is made using titanium for the exhaust piping, the end caps and the sleeve, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - This slip-on exhaust system offers massive savings in regards to it's weight over the original heavy steel exhaust system and the deep sound of the exhaust sure does not disappoint either.Products to buy together - The Honda Grom has no carbon fibre parts fitted from the factory, so the purchasing of other light weight parts to compliment the titanium exhaust is what I would recommend.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the slip-on exhaust system is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the exhaust piping to the exit pipe and the sleeve hanger to the rearset plate.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Akrapovic sell to be higher then what most other companies sell their products for and this slip-on exhaust is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the slip-on exhaust system, I chose sea freight so I could put the saved money toward other additional parts. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs.
