About quality and texture - The meter bracket from SP Takegawa is made from steel with a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - A DN tachometer bracket specifically fabricated to connect directly to the speedometer mounts on the Monkey 125. The meter bracket perfectly aligns the two meters and is quite rigid to minimise vibration while riding.Products to buy together - An ideal product to purchase when mounting a DN tachometer would have to a meter visor kit. Not only offer some protection for the two meters but also improving the looks and aerodymanics.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the meter bracket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the mounting screws on the speedomter, position the meter bracket and re-secure once again.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the meter bracket is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the meter bracket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of meter bracket from SP Takegawa. A stainless steel bracket that is nicely shaped, has a M10 sized mounting point and cutout to pass the guage wiring through.About the feeling of use: With the bracket attached to the left mirror mount my temperature guage is now positioned in a much better location and the bracket is free from vibration while operating the motorcycle.Products to buy together: Some form of guage would also be desirable to purchase along side the meter bracket to make it of any use. SP Takegawa and Koso have a great selection of guages to choose from.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes, removal of the left mirror post was requires to then position the bracket between the mirror post and the mirror mount. I have left the bracket flat for now but could be bent up some if needed for a better viewing angle. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality stainless steel bracket with a nice design as compared to cheaper options from MiniMoto and Posh that are made from aluminium.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: If this bracket design does not suit your needs then there are many more to choose from right here on Webike in the meter bracket category.View Detail
About quality and texture The quality was good, and there was no problem installing itAbout the feeling of use There was a limit to installing it in the direction I wanted on my handlebarProducts to buy together The 05-05-0035 dn meter I have is 42mm, so I couldn't use itDifficulty of installation 45mm tachometer requiredCost performance and comparison with other products It's good to install it on the handlebar and set it up in various waysAbout shipping and packaging It took a week and the packaging is greatAny concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing I thought it was made against dn meters because it was a Takegawa product, but I don't think so So you have to use the clamp that's included in the tachometa, but if you use it, you have to level it Then there are only a few places to installView Detail
Used to divert a CB50JX Tachometer to an XLR80R. The pitch for both the meter and bracket is 4.5 cm, which is just right, but the hold section of the CB50JX Tachometer is a half screw and the screw section and straight section have different diameters, so a little ingenuity was needed in the installation.
When we used a collar that goes through the hole in the cushion rubber, it interfered with the Straight part of the MeterHold. Therefore, we intentionally fitted the cushion without using a collar, and it fits just right.
However, the hold section of the Meter in Mukawa is horizontal, whereas the CB50JX is vertical, so the Meter is rotated 45 degrees when fixed to the handlebar.
The product itself is of good quality, even the Hexagonal Wrench is included.View Detail
About quality and texture - The tuck 'n roll seat from SP Takegawa is made using plastic for the seat base and a synthetic tuck 'n roll material for the seat cover, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Improved appearance from the lower compact design with only a small loss of comfort from the seat sponge used. The flat seat is my preference over the other stepped seats available but I do prefer the other seats with the lower sides that expose the seat rails when compared to this seat which is like the original seat it that respect.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when looking to slim down the appearance of the Monkey 125 would be a fender eliminate, to allow the removal of the original tail extension that adds unnecessary length to the motorcycle.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the tuck 'n roll seat is a simple task that took 0.3 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the seat to the frame.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the tuck 'n roll seat is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the tuck 'n roll seat, I chose sea freight to save some money as I was in no particular rush to install the product. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The shift link from Kitaco is made from steel components with a zinc coated surface finish that are pieced together to form the product, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Such an improvement in so many ways over the original shift link. The original shift link looks cheap and creates so much unneccessary movement in the mechanism. This has now been resolved and the addition of the ability to adjust the toe height has made the positioning of my foot more comfortable.Products to buy together - The product for me to purchase together with the shift link to remove more of the original cheap looking parts and further increase my comfort while riding is a set of Kitaco short reach levers.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the shift link is a simple task that took 0.7 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the shift link tbetween the shift spline boss and the shift pedal.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the shift link is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the shift link, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The tappet cover from G-Craft is made from billet aluminum with detailed machining and a silver anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I was unimpressed with the overall look of the original engine covers with their plain painted finish. The transformation with the simple addition of this tappet cover is amazing and I am more then satisfied with the new look.Products to buy together - G-Craft have many products to purchase to continue adding a more attractive appearance to the Monkey 125 engine but the first on my list are the matching lower tappet cover to complete the engine cover upgrades on the top end of the engine.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the tappet cover is a simple task that took 0.2 an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to transfer over the O-ring from the original cover and then secure wih the included hardware.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the tappet cover is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the tappet cover, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date.
